FER concert in Amsterdam, october 2, 2009
Calefax and Tony Overwater Trio have been travelling with the Far East revisited for quiet some time. Now, half way the tour, after visiting China, India and Turkey, it is time to bring our first musical experiences back to the Netherlands!  FER concert

Erwin Vann replaces Maarten Ornstein
Due to a broken finger Maarten Ornstein will not be able to go on tour with us to India. He will be unable to play until half March. Hopefully he will recover soon and will be with us on the future projects. He will write music for the tour though. A Bollywood song inspired him to write a special arrangement for us.
Maarten will be replaced by the great Belgium sax player Erwin Vann (www.erwinvann.com) . Tony Overwater worked with Erwin Vann before in the Italian group Dufay. He is one of the few players who could replace Maarten in this delicate setting of classical and jazz players. We are delighted to have Erwin with us.

Indian Tour 2009
It took some time and work but now we are really getting ready for India. Our organiser Anand Singh Bawa is refining the last details of our tour to India. Mr Bawa has been the inspiration to make this tour in the first place. He actually saw the concert ok Duke Ellington in the 1960s. We are delighted he is part of our great project.
